Build Your Own Ice Cream was born out of my desire to make ice creams at home - where I knew exactly what was going into my child's sweet treats. The idea was to use good quality ingredients, and to always avoid preservatives, artificial flavourings and colours, hydrogenated vegetable oils and substandard raw material - which, unfortunately, is what is found in commercial ice creams today.
I made my first ice cream sometime in the end of July. It exceeded our expectations. My husband encouraged me to expand "operations" since I had been itching to start a venture for years! And in an instant, we decided we wanted to see if people would accept our ice creams.
We launched our offerings via Instagram on August 14, 2025.
3 months in, and here we are. Alhamdulillah for all the good days (and the rough ones). God has been Kind.
